This is going to be a short post: As Microsoft Developer and huge fan of and contributer to Ghost, I was always concerned about the installation experience of Ghost on Azure. I'm happy to write the following tutorial:
- Visit 'Ghost on Azure' on GitHub
- Click the 'Deploy to Azure' Button
The button will automatically launch a small wizard, asking you what you'd like the name of your site to be and which E-Mail provider you want to use, but the bottom line here is that installation is really just that easy.
Updating
Azure Web Apps remember which Git repository was used to create the website and allow you to re-deploy from that repository at any time. As soon as a new version is released, you can simply click the 'Sync' button in the Azure Management Portal to update your Ghost version.
